They embellish them selves best in their NCC uniform,
The burrayhatmatters more than their hair styles for them!
They prefer NCC boots over the branded designer boots,
NCC ground is the other name of ecstasy for them!
Best match for them: bullet and rifle
Their medals are their pride.
And they are our pride! The CADETS!
This year we celebrated 73rd National Cadet Corps day. It’s been a proud moment for every Indian to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of raising of National Cadet Corps, the largest uniformed youth organisation in this world on November 28, 2021. Aren’t we all supposed to know about Ncc? Yes we are! So that we can understand the importance of those cadets who deserve to be appreciated and admired by each one among us.
What is NCC?
National Cadet Corps, the acronym of Ncc is youth wing of our Indian Armed Forces. Comprising Navy, Army and the Air Wing, it is voluntarily opened as a tri-services organisation to students of schools as well as colleges too.
Why should you choose it? What does it teach?
In every aspect of life, in all the challenges of life, the major requirement for all of us is ‘discipline’. An Ncc cadet learns the best form form of discipline in all directions. Ncc is just like a army or you can say the mini version. It trains the cadets that how army or navy or air force works. During National Cadet Corp training first we learn discipline. A cadet learns to stay strong in all conditions and they imbibe the true patriotism feeling.
NCC isn’t just about training for Indian military, but it’s perspective is much more wider! Apart from training you for firing, drill, the cadets also learns to boost their overall confidence and life skills. Their training isn’t just about fighting for country but, they also learn core moral values and to fight against our inner evils. The way a walker supports a little baby in learning to walk independently, in the same way Ncc provides the best path to those willing to serve the nation or join military. It emphasizes on the multidisciplinary or multidimensional development of a cadet.
Some of the best things that you experience and learn in this are discipline, basic arms training, various types of physical activities ,following orders, team ethics, sports, tours to remote areas, etc. These are the invaluable lessons making the journey of learning interesting, satisfactory and beautiful. Being an Ncc cadet, you build courage and confidence, you get familiar with varied leadership traits and develop communication skills. National Cadets Corp is a matter of pride. is not just a training but it’s an emotion and the sentiment that makes one a better citizen.
